Perth Mint Releases Australia’s Flagship Gold Coins For 2012

PERTH The Perth Mint, the exclusive manufacturer of Australia’s official bullion coin program, has released the Australian Kangaroo Gold Coin Series for 2012.
Recognised internationally as a convenient and cost-effective way to acquire 99.99% pure gold in the trusted form of Australian legal tender, five sizes of Australian Kangaroo coins are available.
The Mint will release up to 350,000 1oz coins, 100,000 1/2oz coins, 150,000 1/4oz coins and 200,000 1/10oz coins featuring a new kangaroo design by Wade Robinson depicting Australia's most famous marsupial and a windmill.
An unlimited number of 1 kilo coins depicting a bounding kangaroo by Dr Stuart Devlin AO CMG, goldsmith and jeweller to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, are also available.
