Kookaburra bullion special marks Year of the Dog

Topics [ silver bullion coins Australian Kookaburra ]

The Perth Mint has issued a special Australian Kookaburra bullion coin in celebration of the forthcoming Year of the Dog.

Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the new release features the 2018 Kookaburra’s eye-catching reverse design with the addition of a privy mark representation of a labrador retriever.

This is the sixth Australian Kookaburra variant incorporating a lunar privy mark. First seen in 2012 with a dragon privy, the sequence has proved popular with four of the preceding coins sold out at the Mint.

With a limited mintage of just 50,000 coins, the latest addition is also expected to be sought after by discerning investors.

Registered customers are invited to place orders on www.perthmintbullion.com. Purchasers in Australia may also call customer services on 1300 201 112, or visit our Bullion Trading Room in person at 310 Hay Street in East Perth.

International customers keen to secure the special coin should contact official distributors Apmex in the U.S. or Gesellschaft fűr Műnzeditionen in Germany while stocks last.
