BULLION BARS AND COINS

Worldwide demand for silver kilo coins from The Perth Mint continues at an unprecedented level as we prepare to ship the 100,000th coin since the introduction of 2011 designs last September!

100,000 kilo coins equates to 3,215,100oz of 99.9% pure silver.

Perth Mint Wholesale Manager Neil Vance said he was delighted that so many buyers were interested in the products. Recently returned from the World Money Fair in Berlin, a traditional gathering ground for the international coin industry, he said this year’s Kookaburra, Koala and Lunar designs had been strongly praised.

“There’s no escaping the fact, however, that their huge popularity has much to do with the fact that they are the cheapest silver bullion coins per ounce available anywhere in the world," Neil said.

"Sales to-date of 100,000 coins suggests buyers are very happy with this year's superb kilo releases."
